Orchid International utilizes scroll slitting lines to process master coils into smaller widths for progressive feeding into dies. This technique maximizes the use of raw material and reduces overall material costs. The process requires a high degree of accuracy as the progression is set by pre-pierced holes prior to the stamping process. Where available, rail service runs directly into the building for receipt of large master steel coils and shipment of finished products.
